vmax will "out torque" your average sport bike, but when it comes to top end, thats where it gets walked

No the V-Max did (I did :-)... but the Ducati had problems with its clutch. But also with a good clutch he will have a problem winning... But it will be much closer...

Vmax are good, but they'd stand no chance against modern superbikes. The guy in the 6R wheelied... so he probably had no idea how to launch.

thats what v max's are made to do straightlining.my dad had one,there only flaw is when you come to a corner!!!

@whatabaffle My 92 Vmax was a wobbler though turns, but only left hand turns..In 15 years of ownership, it always got me through the turn but not without an adrenalin rush!!
