@MusicalPsychoful Making sure you have the right layer selected, you would click on preserve opacity, which is right above the area where your various layers are shown. Then you can just color over whatever it is you want to change.

Idk if it how hard you press down with the pen, or something you select, but how do you make light lines, and then darker ones?

@luvwerewolfs The pen has pressure sensitivity, so it basically works just like a normal pen/pencil works. The harder you press down (more pressure) the darker/thicker the line will be, while less pressure will give you a lighter/thinner line

i have a prob... can i get a bucket tool to the vector layer and how... i cant get it to my tool options and vector makes smother lines so i was hoping to get it there

@LittleMissOddness The vector layer doesn't have a bucket tool, but what it does have is a select tool. It basically works like a regular brush where you just paint over what you want to select, and erase (deselect) what you don't want.

The problem i have is that my lines are all pixely and shaky although i have a steady hand. I'm probably not used to my tablet yet (used it like 10 minutes in 3 days lol).

How are you only coloring certain parts of the drawing? Like for your background, you only colored the background but I could see you moving over the whole drawing. Your tutorial's great and it's helped me bunches but this is the only thing people never address...do you lock the layer or something?

Why is it for every person that does a tutorial for SAI Paint Tools they have to make the video go at mach speed. It is impossible to tell what you are doing mean you have to go back multiple times just to get what you want and even then its impossible to tell. I don't care if its boring to go slow, it helps with understanding what is happening

@sunspot82 lol he says a 1000 dollars, he's wrong, you can get them cheaper, look up wacom, you have choices really, cintiq's are for pro's and very very very expensive, intuos is what artists usually get, wether its stuff like this or whatever, bamboo is for casual artists or simple things but it can do the job required. i'd reccomend getting a cheap bamboo tablet or intuos, i use a intuos myself, btw size of tablet doesnt mean better. big ones get in the way, go for small or medium.
