  • Just to put in perspective how difficult it is to use chained weapons like they are, the Society for Creative Anachronism actually bans the use of flails and similar weapons in mock combat because it's too difficult to use them safely. The fact that these guys are able to take having a chain wrapped around their NECK and thrown around without getting their neck broken tells you just how good these guys have to be.
