I like the idea of people 'voting' for the kind of movies they want to see by funding independent projects. But too often I see this rhetoric of domination by the big studios used to cover up the failure of lazy scripts and haphazard productions to attract widespread attention. The truth is that many of the great scripts do get made by the big studios. It's awfully hard for a script to get noticed by the big studios...because 95% of them are crap.

so much going on in there-- visually, verbally, musically... I had to watch it several times. very powerful/ inspirational. tho i wished it lingered more on the blue lantern shots. "I got to tell you, I'm fairly excited to see what you're capable of. If Morpheus is right and all... a very exciting time. We got work to do. We got to get to it."
