  • God bless you Robert Duncan for putting your ass on the line to pursue and open scientific avenues that have been ridiculed,in order to benefit science and mankind.

  • Thank you very much for posting this. It's refreshing to see a legitimate, credentialed scientist actually ACTING LIKE a scientist and not a politician.

'I DON'T KNOW' are not the 3 words that damn a scientist.

  • A very smart PhD physicist friend tells me its likely the micro pores. I dont care if its little polka doted elves, I hope its real and able to commercialize. We need fusion to move into a new generation of human evolution.

  • Looks like Palladium is going to be a good investment.

  • What the hell is a scientific method? HuH? My blood has bLoOD in it.

  • Did you not go to school? Basic 12th grade physics or chemistry should have taught you the scientific method. If not go back to school.

  • @thakook Steps: 1.) Ask a Question 2.) Do Background Research 3.) Construct a Hypothesis 4.) Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment 5.) Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion 6.) Communicate Your Results

  • BYE BYE FOSSIL FUELS they will not go go quitely.

  • @theoneagain Fossil Fuels don't need to "go" anywhere. All kinds of energy has it's place, solar, natural gas, gasoline etc. We'll still need oils to grease the machines of the world.

  • Fusion is the most important field of study, the future of Humanity hinges upon the outcome, yet the average person has no idea of it's existence.

  • You are quite right. The average person has no idea. However, it is unfortunate that the CF community doesn't do a better job of communicating their story. I try to read most of the current research done in the field. The reality is unless you are a chemist or physist PHD (and I am not) you will little understanding of what it means. The CF field needs an evangelist that is able to articulate in laymens terms what all the current research means.

  • @gsutton57 The problem is in the anti-research community being allowed to present themselves as-if scientists.

Slogans like "it is impossible" and "I'm not aware of such report" don't have any place in science. In science we never assert anything, either we know something or we are in the process of figuring things out. Intentionally not being aware of a report really says much more about the speaker than it could ever say about a topic.

look what they did to hemp ethanol? Orwell lives!

  • @gsutton57 The community of theoretical physics, of which I am all too intimately familiar, is perhaps the greatest collection of irredeemable assholes the world has ever produced. So it hardly matters what the LENR guys do, the former will always ignore them. I would just cut them out of the picture and develop a community independent of the traditional bastions of hard science (most of which are now grossly overpopulated with string theorists and cosmologists, i.e. high priests of bullshit).
