The Darood started a mass killing of the Isaaq clan so the SNM started fighting back against the Darod donkey president Said Barre. After chasing him to Nigeria, SNM liberated Somaliland(with the support of Ethiopia). Ever since then Zoomalia has been ruled by war lords and jihadists.
