For who don't know. In some languages the word "fox" is a female substantive and that make a lot of people think Tails are female too. I've never think that happened in another countries too. Good to know.

I actually think that if SEGA were to remake sonic 2, and were to remake EVERY DELETED BETA LEVEL. That thew game would be very enjoyable, just think about genocide city...If they were to make all these "Lost" levels and release them officially, then that would be a very big credit to the Sonic franchise (Considering how much of a douche sonic is nowadays)

This one has much better orchestration than the final version, but the final version's melody is louder & stronger, too. I prefer this version if I'm just listening to music, but the final version works better as an in-game tune IMO

I heard this in the game once! I spindashed to the first boss, and for some reason sonic was facing left and walking on the spot. Then the first six notes of this loudly played, and then silence, except sound effects. Than when i killed him the regular "Sonic has finished act 2" music played! i was wondering what was going on!

The only fault I have with this is the melody, It doesnt have that individualty that i like, I mean, it kind of blends in with the background.

Otherwise, its a pretty Damn good song. Automatic Like.

That Tails was supposed to be female is just a rumor. Sure there was a big discussion about him but that was about what animal he should be. They chose between a tanuki and a fox but Mario had already all this tanuki stuff sice SMB3 so they took the fox. Many fans are still so intrigued by his "feminine" moments that they think he was supposed to be female. This however was never confirmed by Sega. But I'm sure that 70% still believe in this rumor...

In the original plans Miles "Tails" Prower was planned to be a female character. But for some reason that plan was nuked and he became a boy in the final results. As I said, why? I have no idea. Perhaps because of the future plans for the character Amy Rose, so having two female characters after Sonic at once would have been complicated perhaps. Mainly because Sonic is afraid of women, and yet Tails was made his best friend. That would spiral the Sonic and Amy relationship into pure confusion.

I can't really see a Sonic game with those two actually together.

It would make no sense and the Sonic games got already thrown into drastical changes after the classics.

An Amy who doesn't chase Sonic is like Tails without flying abilitys.

And back then is was cliche, that fans thought that the hero HAD to be together with the first woman who appears.

Sega probably tried to avoid this.
