I use Cache Metals when buying gold and silver coins. A Canadian company. They drop ship from the US, so low/no shipping fees. And no sales tax because they are out of Canada.

I've just ordered some silver bars from APMEX and want to get some maple silvers and eagle silvers. I've just did a price comparison for canadian maples from the APMEX and gainesville sites and I would probably buy it from gainesville. I'm not sure how much shipping is going to cost as it is by weight while APMEX is based on dollar amount. The range is quite big. But gainesville's price for maples are lower. Even the charge using credit is slightly less than the non-credit price of APMEX.
gainsville does charge for credit card use but not nearly as much as apmex, gainsville prices over spot are alot less too, and shipping is the same. so where is the best place to buy? gainsville hands down i've been with them for a short time but they have great customer service from what i can tell
The lowest shippping fee APMEX has is 12.50 the more you spend the higher shipping goes not by weight. Until you hit 22,000. APMEX sucks and their coins are underweight I bought a silver eagle from them and when I tried to sell it back to them they gave it back with a letter saying from being slightly underweight it must be counterfeit.
@artdeco101010 if you look at what APEX charges for credit card use that's absurd compared to the priced in prices at gainesvillecoins. I can't understand why people continue to buy from APMEX or NWTM with those fees and of course minimum orders

gainesville DOES charge a credit card fee. it's usually .70 to $1 or so higher.
