Are these iWork apps for iPad compatible with Microsoft Office documents like on macs?

This might be okay for doing presentations or data entry.

But it looks too slow and awkward to create a presentation or spreadsheet. For the dollar to function/portability ratio, I'm still better off with a netbook.

I'll check it out when it is release and see for myself.

In my opinion, except for typing long paragraphs, it seems like doing office stuff on the iPad could actually be more fun than doing it on a laptop! Document and presentation layout, data entry (w/ adaptive keyboard), forms, etc. I haven't seen the exact details though, I wonder if any features are missing compared to the full iWork?

@acslater017 i dont have an ipad or a mac but in almost every blog review or video en youtiube almost everyone with one said that iworks is more fun, quick and easy to use than ms office

@acslater017 actually they have a snazzy dock that takes care of it, it has a full size qwerty keyboard attatched on the dock :D
