looks a little wobbly, my Cam Caddie seems to get superior results with my DSLR attached and sometimes I attach lights to the top and it doesn't effect the smooth movements.
Hmm, I have the GF1, and just bought the Hague MMC - but I can't seem to get it stabilized. Always tints to one side, or wobbles alot. How did you stabilize it?
Great ! a little question : Can you manually adjust the shutter speed with video mode ? For some reasons the videos you made with the GF1 seems smoother thant most seen on the internet
you can reduce the exposure but not the shutter speed like the GH1.
Smooth playback really depend on the flash player when viewed on the internet. all my video watched from my hard drive are super smooth and display better colors
Technically, isn't the GF1 a micro four-thirds camera? Where an SLR uses mirrors to bounce the image onto the sensor, a micro four-thirds camera directs the image straight through to the sensor.
This is great! Thank you very much for this useful reference video. I am taking a video class in college and have been looking at my options for steadycams that would work nicely with the GF1. Thanks to this video, I think I found it. It's not too big and not too expensive.
You should mirror the video in windows movie maker to make it look normal

@MrPlaystationboy
That would only make it look abnormal...

@ZamolRos Please watch Hague tutorial posted on Vimeo.com. It's fairly easy, just have to move the weight around or add/remove some.

as steady as you want it, and to think this is achieved with no IS (image stabilization) pretty impressive.

damn ... the GF1 seems far more stable even handheld than the NEX 5 ...

How is GF1 compared to your previously owned SX1?
milosjanata 2 years ago
its a lot more enjoyable to take pictures with the GF1 and the quality is night and days VS SX1. no regret upgrading thats for sure

That Class SD card did you use for this video recording?
petercui 2 years ago
You should use Class 6, it says in the manual.

how long can record continuously?? my lx3 only 8minutes to 8 minutes
how about this camera?
wakakaforever 2 years ago
the video length limitation is 110 minutes, with a 16Gb, you can do a bit more than an hour, so a 32gb SDHC is required to reach that length
