In general, evaluation scores are almost always the primary way to assess teaching. As to

improvements, the results are supposed to improve an instructor's teaching ability, but

nowadays an instructor who makes students work hard often geta a low rating. Students have

become inattentive,easily bored and unwilling to work hard on difficult or abstract material.And

many teachers are afraid of evaluations. Untenurde or part-time instructors are especially

vulnerable.
