Don't use cAPS lOCK and it's spelled easiest, but you're right. Blender is the easiest... Or at least the best when comparing to price.

Young's in his mid-twenties, I went to school with him (he's the artist of these effects tests). The field is really competitive, but if you have good stuff you will be in demand. It's most important to have a really good demo reel that shows off only your best work.
