That explains why it sounds like the Rock is trying to make everything he says sound like a catch phrase, most notably with the dramatic pauses in his sentences such as "We're all killers . . . Reaper." or "Semper Fi . . . Motherf***er!" Stone Cold Steve Austin is the only decent one I know.

Aha, you've pointed out why the FPS segment didn't work for me-- the monsters were periodically (& predictably) "spawning" one by one in front of the camera.... a nice "safe" distance away! I mean, how is that suppose to be scary or suspenseful?
BTW, I noticed that ERod's ammo & health didn't change at all, even before he turned on "God" mode-- wouldn't that be a "goof" or continuity error?

Awesome. This movie was bad. The review was good. I liked the betting on seeing who would die first. I have had a few Creature Feature nights with my pals. We never actually bet but we explain why we think the person that we say is going to die dies.
Black guy dies because he's black. Nerdy guy dies because he's curious, etc.

Even if I wasn't a fan of the games, I'd probably still hate this movie. 3 things that could have made it better:
1.) More use of the BFG 9000
2.) Demons from the fucking game (imps, lost souls, etc.)
3.) The portal to hell. You know, the main plot device of the games. It would have been cool to see the characters go into hell as well.

Awesome. This movie was bad. The review was good. I liked the betting on seeing who would die first. I have had a few Creature Feature nights with my pals. We never actually bet but we explain why we think the person that we say is going to die dies.
Black guy dies because he's black. Nerdy guy dies because he's curious, etc.

Dumbass movies by dumbass who have a dumbass vision on video games for dumbass on biere. And for the rick, he have made a TON OF BAD MOVIES, but I liked him in the get smart movie (he even drop he's nickname for been credit has his true name, maybe is a sign than he want be a serious actor, okay, it's not evident, but the intention is enough). good and funny review anyway.

@tonythereviewguy1 Actually I thought the fight between Destroyer and the Uber Beast down in the electrified pit was pretty good, I even felt bad when Destroyer was killed ( which is more than I can say for the rest of cast) the guy put up one hell of a fight and deserved better.

This movie should have been called Doom & Doomer. I smelled what the Rock was cookin here............ A crock pot full of elephant scrotums. Good shit though bro, you do deserve to be on TGWTG. Honestly sometimes I like your reviews more than NC's. Keep up the good work.

@ERod2010 Honestly I can barely remember the movie aside from the fact it had WALKEN and was ok. But the monkey hump with Seann William Scott yelling "Establish dominance! Establish Dominance!" was pretty good.

I liked that first person section for it at least trying something new. It's done horribly wrong, but at least it was trying.
Very nice review, man. :) Ya switched to clip references just a tad bit too much though, for my taste xD

also as a kid I was discussed by the Tim Burton Batman movie (if its the one with the Penguin [yucky andugly looking character lol] but as a kid i loved Batman Forever [I still have my Robin promotional cup/mug from McDonald's when that movie came out ^_^])

Excellent job. Doom is such a terrible movie, I thought it was one Uwe Boll's. I was shocked to find out the guy who made Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds made this. Talk about moving down in the world.
