J. Fred Muggs is still alive and well...and will turn 60 himself in March. (Chimps live a long time--Cheetah from the Tarzan pictures with Johnny Weismuller just passed at the age of 81.)
@irish89055 also a shame people feel compelled to rag on rare 25+ year old clips someone was nice enough to upload. Say, why not download, re-edit, and put up yourself? Oh, and it's spelled Sigourney ;)
@ziggyelman oh yeah, i intend do go through my vhs and upload some things one day.. you probably took this off anothers upload, regardless it's poor editing.. you priggish pendantic clown... hmmm guess i should go check my spelling.. i knew i had her name wrong but when in this venue only one as yourself would worry about spelling. You probably critique IM's too... sheeezz
I'm sure this show, which I had seen live, is on here in a less mangled form. He wasn't at then ten minute limit and shouldn't have cut off what was a good interview. See, I didn't even mention how I dislike Gumble..
Dave Garroway was so smart and understated. So great to see him in this clip still witty and gently brilliant in the 1980s. Wonderful on camera, but evidently a deeply troubled man. Maybe he just thought too much about too many things.

ironic when he says there's so much to do and he committed suicide like six months later

Sadly, Dave Garroway took his own life not long after this.
