  • To what extent is this automated?

    Is there an electronic eye watching the vehicles position and closing or opening chutes as necessary?

  • All of this is Manually operated. The guys that are standing on the platform next to the wagons open and close the chutes, also a shunter (rail operater) tells the driver of the train to move forward or backwards.

  • I hate to ask to many questions, but how long are the shifts?

    Do they have multiple consists in line, queuing for loading, or is it usually a few consists a day?
