To what extent is this automated?
Is there an electronic eye watching the vehicles position and closing or opening chutes as necessary?

All of this is Manually operated. The guys that are standing on the platform next to the wagons open and close the chutes, also a shunter (rail operater) tells the driver of the train to move forward or backwards.
I hate to ask to many questions, but how long are the shifts?
Do they have multiple consists in line, queuing for loading, or is it usually a few consists a day?
Thanks for the help.
