I think your experience is your point of view. I have participated in Landmark Education for over 15 years, and I think I have experienced the good and the bad, but in the end the forum is a training created by human beings that helps unlock things in people. Is that mind control? I think not. To me it is more like ART. It unlocks good and positivity.
Abusers try to undermine their victim's perceptions, to manipulate them and isolate them from real truth. They may withhold information while lying to their victim, create confusion, emotional pain and mental anguish, while periodically "rescuing" their victim by seeming to offer the balm of love that alleviates the victim's pain drawing the victim ever closer as to gain Control maintain power over people while often presenting a perfect persona to the world. Thanks so much for your wise words, I agree with you about the abuse of power issue, especially among "charismatic leaders" that operate in a totalitarian environment. In one particular controversial group, future would-be trainers were told to watch a video of their "charismatic leader", over and over and over again until they exactly mimicked his actions to a tee. Creepy.

Great to see a new video. It is tricky to have a "issues" conversation were domination is not atleast a small factor. However that does not mean that domination should be our intention. Excellent job, as usual.
