PLEASE don't compare him to Sinatra! And if you really want to hear how "Fever" should sound, listen to Peggy Lee's rendition. I would rate Johnny Hartman. Billy Eckstine, Mel Torme and Herb Jeffries way above Buble. He is a good performer, NOT great. To my ears he sounds like a Bobby Darrin clone. Young people today havent heard decent pop singing in such a long time, it's no wonder they are excited.

Hey, bigbdh, why so uptight? Bublé himself would probably be the first to agree with you. But he's got one thing going for him that Sinatra and the others can't compete with. He's alive (literally), he's happening now, he's young and dynamic, his CDs are in the charts, new, and you can go to his concerts.  Thanks to him, young people are more likely give Sinatra another listen. (Of ocurse there's no guarantees, either.)
