at the very begining it wont let me put a video into blender, i says "error, the selected file is not a movie" but its an avi file, and my other avi files work, idk why soe of them dont, i could use some help

@Avian98X This is free, and can do everything 3ds max can do. So in my opinion Blender > 3ds Max.

I dont know if you could help me. I recorded a 4 second clip with my phone. And i get like 4000 frames? the thing is that like 300 of these are the clip. but the rest is just black?

The video seems to be really blurry....would that have something to do with the aspect ratio or is just that my camera is crappy....lol

@youtherevmk Check to make sure that the quality is set to 100% when you are given the option to.

@XAutomatedOwnerX Check out the information about your camera. Or you can just have 1 for your aspect x and aspect y and see how that looks and if you are satisfied with it.
