Hey Max, Ive been working out Buktooth loop that you covered in the Dr. Doom Assist me. I thought it was a great help with Doom, but what I dont get is when Doom gets tagged in. Youre performing the BnB but after the j.S, you seem to to fit in j.M on the way down to help your recovery. How is that even possible? I can do the loop without it just fine, but sometimes that s.H is fickle. Help us!

@Jinxownzu Do they tell me a good way to get in on a zoning Task master or a Akuma with Dante or Strider no, they just get it out of the there getting in moves because TaskMasters arrows do such much damage and Akuma is just move backwards ready to black and counter.

@ollyizard1 I'm pretty sure the strategy guide has the answer you're looking for. Probably under character profiles. As a Dante player, I don't actually have much trouble with Akumas. If they frustrate you by dodging, then get back and bait them. Then hit them with the longest combo you have, or just link into a Damage Dealer's (i.e Dormammu's) hyper. With Task, try inputting down down while blocking and then s, so it's safer. And do it fast. Plus, spam easily loses to random hypers.

@Alberto170389 To clarify what the other guy is saying, "falling fast" is downward air dashing. Or sometimes you can do this by delaying your jump after ground "S", so that your character falls more in sync with the launched enemy... really hard to explain, but just try delaying your jump before any air combo and see what difference it makes.

@ddarkreturns You air dash cancel it right as it hits/is blocked. If you don't do this then the recovery on j.s is until you land from the bounce (ie you will die).

@ddarkreturns I'm not a Doom player, but I suspect it's all to do with when during footdive you try to cancel. I suspect you may have more luck if you try and cancel immediately on hit... Look up Doom on shoryuken com's MVC3 guide. There's a video tutorial with commentary and stuff :)

Doom has every right to say he's top-tier, especially after you see the size of his Foot Dive hitbox (can be seen on the Vita version of UMvC3), which covers pretty much all of Doom except the cape.
