If you can afford a 2009 Lincoln MKS, why would you care about the price of gas in your area? I don't understand why they built in the gas price thing.
performance cars dont sell to the masses, ford is not aiming to sell the car as a "performance" car. although it will have a v6 turbo charged making 340 horsepower. with the fuel economy of a v6... that will sell, not a v8 making 340 hp with 16 city 21 highway mpg...
What's wrong with FWD cars? This Lincoln doesn't need to be RWD, since it has a lighter V6 engine block. Besides, it's better on snow. It will also be available in AWD, for those who don't like the FWD configuration and to power the bigger available turbo-charged engine.
Don't forget about badging. I know some people who would rather spend some money to buy the same car with a "better company badge" on it. Same deals with the Civic/CSX (Although CSX is canadian, sorry)
That's an overstatement. This car is great. It offers plenty of bang for the buck. For the price, I'd take this over any Euro luxury sedan at any time. And Ford's coming out with great products, such as the 2009 Flex and remodeled Mustang and Fusion for 2010. Ford rules!
The door keypad works fine in the winter. Take it from someone who helped launch the car in the middle of winter in Chicago.

the car will also have a "AWD" model. more and more buyers are leaning towards awd over rwd over the years.

I'm still not impressed..Lincoln and it's customers deserves alot more than this car provides...Ford will be dead in a few years.

AWD, Turbo, roomy, and nice looking for the price of a 328i. I like it!

You meant GM will be dead in a few years cause they have poor quality and they are still shutting down more plants than Chrysler and Ford.
