A few things that i feel need to be said . . .
1. calves are not killed, or there would be no more cows!
2. cows are not ALWAYS confined into small spaces.
3. it has many nutritional and bacterial benefits. (especially raw milk)
4. and if we are allowed to smoke and allowed to take drugs then even if it is "bad" for us we should be allowed to drink it at our own risk!

The bigger the operation, the greater the suffering and exploitation, thus in most cases the cows are confined to just space to stand. Can't have the animals moving around, we need to suck the milk that was intended for the calf we slaughtered.

2. Yeah, not ALWAYS. Most of the time, for saving money.... That's all the corporate farms care about. Money.
3. Milk also has a lot of things that are not good for you. Cows milk was made for baby cows, human milk made for humans... not the other way around!
4. Smoking and taking drugs does not cause the suffering of a living human being. (Not very much, anyways.)
And yes, I've been to many dairy FACTORIES in California.... Absolutely atrocious.

Now. comparing drugs and smoking to mistreating animals and killing them isn't the best comparison..So I'm not saying that drugs are good or anything. And yeah, smoking does effect the people around you. Not the best argument.

1. heifers are more often chastised and raised as beef cattle.
2. maybe they are confined to little cardboard boxes like the video shows or maybe some times they aloud to eat grass in a pasture.
3. once pasteurized the bad may or may not out number the good nutrients.
4 They don't? last i checked car crashes, drug wars, addictions, and cancer were caused by these things!
factory in California are different then farms in Canada so in some cases you are probably right.

3. OK so we can't agree on if its good or bad for you. but i do know that cows produce more milk ( because they were bred for that ) than they used to and that that calves are also feed some of the milk. (please see 1:57 and a dairy farm)

5. to say that dairy farms are nothing but cruel to cows is crazy. farms feed them and farms keep them warm. they are bred so that they make more milk and are stronger than ever before.
now here is the not so good side of things. cows should be aloud to eat more grass as that is their natural food.
Please note: with the comment about the drugs i was referring more to the right to put what we want to put in our bodies.

GREAT video! Only thing you don't mention is GMOs. You CAN'T get calcium from plants unless they're from Whole Foods or a trusted local market. NO Winn Dixies, NO Wal Marts, etc. Man has made the GOOD food supply very limited...

Milk is made from the blood of the cow. So, what is in the cow's blood is also in the milk. Infections, growth hormones etc. Milk also contains white blood cells. This is pus. Milk has been linked to the promotion of cancer in humans. Milk is a negative source of calcium for humans. The milk turns our blood acidic and this needs to be neutralised with calcium from bones and teeth.

Were any minds changes after watching this video? In all likelihood not.
I and most others will continue to put milk into our frosty cereals. And those who do not part take in the finer points of dairy will continue to live lesser lives. Arguing any point on the issue in this forum is futile.

There is a reason why they have to boil all the "good" stuff out of it, because it is so full of bad stuff that must be killed. Pasteurization was instituted to control diseases such as tuberculosis, diphtheria, streptococcal infections & typhoid fever that were coming from bacteria in cow's milk. FACT

Raw or pasteurized, cow's milk is unhealthy and unnatural. Humans were not meant to suck the teats of cattle. It is made for baby cows; I am neither a baby nor a cow. There are plenty of glorious, healthy, delicious, cruelty-free, 0 saturated fat, 0 cholesterol, 0 hormone, 0 cow pharmaceutical options: almond milk, rice, oat, soy, coconut.

We are superior at dominating and destroying. Internet and going to the moon is of little relevance when we have no sympathy towards our fellow earthlings.
