What are you using to control the Collective? I'm using an xbox 360 controller but cannot seem to control the collective with it but everything else is working fine.
Does anyone know if there's a boxed version or if you could buy it, save it onto a memory stick and then transfer it to a different computer because my computer with FSX my have a virus or spyware
How did you manage to keep the starter switch pressed, and open the throttle at the same time?
I am having difficulty starting up the dodo because I have to quickly let off the starter, and open the throttle (to 6%) after N1 reaches 15%. Then I quickly get back to the starter switch, which results in a hot start. This happens for either of the two offered FCUs.
I use the TH-57 checklist for the Navy and a accompanying gouge. If engine down time >15 minutes, then warm up for 1 min. Then per gouge, go to 70% slowly, let the torque stabilize, then 80 and so on. If you go to 100% immediately, you'll note a spike in torque to about 50%, equals extra wear on the main trans.
I never worried about it until it cost me 5000 DoDo dollars to overhaul after about 15 hours flight time. The DoDo is sensitive, and it doesn't forget abuses. I behave myself now.
Instead of look to sky, pay attention on your TOT and n1

@dietrichian I use the throttle on my joystick for collective. I don't think the 360 pad would work well because of the centering of the sticks.

Awesome start up. I have a quick question though.

Any help is appreciated!

Keep the mouse pressed on the 2d start button and I use the throttle keys Ctrl + F3 to advance the throttle
