I completely agree with you sasha42196. Unfortunately, that's how many productions are nowadays... Watching an opera presented "normally", as it is supposed to be presented, is more and more difficult, I believe...

Ha-ha! Made me laugh! Almost as good as at the Met production where there was no window, but the basement and no beret on Tatiana at the ball. I was there and still think it was the funniest thing when Hvorostovsky sang: "Кто та, совсем ведь без берета?" But he didn't do it for HD transmission, too bad...:)))
