Also all the women at clinic that I'm doing are claiming the same thing, that 6 sessions is not enough. They say 6, but then, after you are already doing it of course you're not gonna stop. But I just think 6 is far away from enough and people agree with me on that, which pisses me off =//. At least now I pay half the price for the session because is just maintenance.
I've been doing laser for a long time now, i have really pale skin too and dark hair. And it's much easier to get rid of the hair if u are fair skin toned, the dermatologist explained to me. BUT so far I've done 12 sessions under my arms. Some areas don't have hair anymore, but still the hair keeps growing in some areas. I would say I got rid of 60% of the hair. Let me know after your 6 sessions if the hair comes back or not.
I have been thinking about getting laser hair removal myself. I am nervous because I have heard horror stories about people being burned by the lasers. Definitely don't want my down there burned! Haha eventually I also want to try and have my stretch marks lasered too.
sorry if this is a tmi question, but are you doing just bikini line or Brazilian?
I'm been thinking about it but never actively researched it. And $200 is like me getting waxed for like 4-5 months! Sounds like you got a really good deal.
@TittyMongrel hahaha yes it is. and i've never liked hair i think it's gross and uncomfortable and that never came from any companies or media. but thanks for your opinion...
@MisfitMassacreMakeup lol it definitely sucks and my leg hair is the same colour so I'm not even going to bother trying lazer there either. I'm like you, I'm really grossed out by hair lol and i hate shaving--it takes forever to do and then the hair grows right back the next day. I know that I said earlier that even after my 7th treatment the hair grows back a bit but I should have mentioned that it takes about 4 months to grow back so that's a good amount of time to have no hair.
@fictionwriter04 that's true. My skin is very sensitive and very pale. It gets really red when I'm getting the laser treatment. It is more painful in the bikini area. The underarm area is less painful but more of a struggle for me because i'm SO ticklish. I can barely hold my arm straight lol! I love not worrying about shaving too! I really wanted to get lazer on my arm hair but the hair is too light in colour so it didn't work :( I guess I will just have to keep waxing forever lol
Bree its really funny you came out with this video because for the last little while I've been doing weekly polls on my blog and one that i was going to get to was "where would you get laser hair removal" and for my i think i would hands down do my underarms first because that is the place seen most often + you can wear limited styles if you haven't had the time to shave. :) great vid! and fabulous price!
I didn't get the Soprano XL Laser removal. Maybe I will try that. I got laser hair removal on my brows. The girl told me that it was going to be 8 sessions. Well after the 8 sessions were up, she told me that I needed another 8 more!!! It would hurt like Shit. Then she tells me 8 more!!! So I didn't go back. Every session I had was $40.00 and she never removed any of it. After a while it all grew back in. THAT WAS A TOTAL RIP OFF.
@Chafalota WOW that is horrible! it's most definitely the laser they were using. definitely a rip off! if you got that many it should be gone for sure. make sure the place you go to is reputable and safe and do research on the laser ahead of time that helps a lot! i do suggest the soprano XL laser though i've had no problems with it!
Why didn't you start with your legs? I would do that first! I'm so interested in this because I hate shaving but I have to because I hate waxing....Looking forward to your future videos about this!
I have had laser hair removal too! I am on my 7th treatment now and I still have hair growing back but it's a lot thinner and more sparse. I go to a place that uses the same lazer that is being used on you and it's not completely painless. The lazer feels quite hot on my skin at times and creates a picking feeling. It's tolerable though and so worth it :)
@MissShanyce97 there's no age limit but i've read that they don't treat anyone under 13 since you're still growing and hair is still growing and changing around those ages so i'd honestly wait a little longer but as long as you feel ready and can afford it and aestheticians are willing to treat you, go for it!

Does the laser hair removal work anywhere or just on your legs and bikini line?

Some people claim that after getting pregnant, all their hair returns. Not sure if that's common...

hair isn't disgusting. it's sad how razor companies and magazines make u think it's wrong and gross to have hair.
