  • yoooo...she's a Beast (compliment)..lol...Inspiratio­n right there. What is you advice for a person who is over 300 pounds and wants to be pilates. Holding positions like that can be very strenuous. Could you possible do a video for bigger person with modulated pilates positions.

  • loved this video! thanks cassey! i am still very overweight so i started it and gave up. but a few minutes later i went back to it and just worked as hard as i could. i had to modify most of the exercises but at least i got through it, right? :)

  • @TheSewdiva here i am back for my second try! here are some examples of how i modified moves: during the chorus, i continued to walk in and out instead of jumping (just a quicker pace). saw twist rollup: i didn't lay all the way down between twists, i just leaned back as far as i could hold myself and held it there until she was rolling back up (this still worked my core). and doing so many reps was hard for other things so i would rest for about 3 seconds sometimes.

  • Plank position hurts a great deal sometimes, with pain radiating up and down my forearm.

    Does it sound like I'm not balanced or not finding the pose properly?

  • Oh hai! Have you considered - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker got ripped Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of fat with it.

  • @StyleFreAk07 You should check your BMI (Body Mass Index) It will tell you the weight range you should be in for your height and age. Hope this helps! :)

  • I AM 6'5 & 330lbs & at 31 years old still a standout athlete. I excel at Football, Basketball, and Soccer. I fell in Love with Pilates around 2006 & the benefits for my Athleticism and flexibility continue to give me Joy and inspiration. I use to weigh over 500lbs & I KNOW that Pilates helped me with my loss. I plan on becoming certified and teaching it someday. Cassey is a gift for sharing all this. I cant weight to challenge myself with those walking and jumping in & outs from plank! Light

  • Burn baby burn. The belly button being tucked i so impotant as im lean as it is but it shapes our abs and deosnt make them ouffed out cuz our abs will look how ou train them obviously. Im sharing these videos asap.

  • @KissAzn23 10 minutes of exercise daily isn't very much. it's actually recommended you get ATLEAST 30 minutes. plus casey can't answer this because she doesn't know your stats. people are so different when it comes to weightloss she couldn't tell you. weightloss is 80% healthy diet, 20% exercise.

  • Hey Cassey, I need to lose about 10 lbs but being a super poor college student makes eating healthy a little difficult!

    Also, do you have some suggestions for FUN cardio? I despise running and hurt my ankle a few years ago and running hurts it pretty badly. Any suggestions would be fantastic!!!

  • @sasha123505 how tall & old are you? So, don't starve! That's the worst thing you can do. You should eat all of these delicious veggies, fruits and good proteins! And also carbs, but they should come from whole grain products, because it will fill you up longer and it doesn't turn into fat :) avoid eating carbs in the evening. you should start your day right with a BIG breakfast that keeps you full till lunchtime.then having a healthy lunch and then you shouldn't be that hungry in the evening

  • @xMissdiorcherie so some veggies should be enough. I personally eat broccoli almost every evening, because it keeps me full, and it has almost no fat and calories which is great :D In the morning I eat half of an apple with oatmeal and yoghurt , and 2 slices of whole grain bread with low fat quark ;) you should try it, its so freakin' delicious and it's my alternative to nutella toast ;) For lunch I have what I want, but always something with veggies ;D and when I'm at Mc Donalds or somewhere

  • @sasha123505 I eat a grilled chicken wrap with a garden salad ;D and also drinking lots of (green) tea and water! So what else.. Avoid sweeteners and things like that, they are really bad for you. And your have to give your body the good fats , e.g nuts, almonds, olive oil. just don't overdo it ;) you have to find the right balance. and then some awesome blogilates workouts, and it should work! :) Have you seen the fat melting routine? it's awesome

  • Cassie why is my left forearm hurting so much? It's like a crazy hot pain when I twist my wrists? I'm not very heavy & i've done planks many times before & now it's hurting like crazy! BTW nice workout! I loved it, but the pain hurts :o
