wow I can't believe Blu uses the old and failing system that come in really cheap E-Cigars.... the one's I bough for my pops years ago looked very professional and really looked like real cigars but the whole flavor, atomizer system was all in the cartridge and no other parts to disassemble just the cartridge and the neck which holds the charge! & each cartridge lasted about 2 packs of cigars! Cost $80 but did some bartering and got them for $60 included 2 full Electric cigars & 5 flav. packs!
You're paid also.. I bought a disposable one from walgreens for 8 bucks and tested it with friends. Its strong as hell, its coming out. You need to find another hobby.. And this is the disposable one!

hey so you did this about a year ago. I'm considering buying one of these. I smoke about half a pack a day normally but when I'm around family I don't smoke cause they hate it but it kills me then I binge when I get a chance. @Becklin315 grab an Ego 510 kit, and pick up a low resistance 306 or 510 atomizer while you are at it. The blu is just an entry level ecig, you always have to charge it, kind of a pain in the ass. With an ego and low resistance atomizer, you get clouds of vapor, and at least a full day of vaping (moderate vaping). Good luck

@360psyco i agree 100 percent buddy. The blu ecig is a great start for the newbie vaper. Its not user friendly, and is a pain in the ass to deal with. However, the attys come in handy when using them on a high voltage 510 connection (i realized this after i gave all my attys to a friend!)
Volcano rules dude... i watched everyoneTRYING to use the blu when it first came out. Most of them had to suck so hard to get a good hit that the juice from the cart would go in their mouth. I tried volcano and liked it so much i decided to work for them...lol

I cartridge = about 10 puffs? That's 25 cartridges equal to 25 cigarettes. I smoke 2 boxes day, thus meaning if what you've experienced is true - With Blue that's more expensive than smoking! This video was 8 months ago, have you quit smoking and what are you vaping now? Thanks

I've been vaping blu for 8 days (got it off Craigslist) and my mileage has varied.
1 Cartridge = about 6 hours of vaping for me and I was smoking a pack and a half a day. Still feel the need to smoke though, but have only smoked about 1 pack in a week - which is pretty miraculous.
Wanted say I agree with your review (an awesome one) but I'm getting on with Blu pretty good so far. Can't wait to try the DSE 901 and totally quit :)

buy a joye 510. battery life isn't amazing if you're vaping constantly but it will last you about an hour and a half. if you vape like you smoke cigarettes, maybe vape for about 7 minutes every 45 mins it'll last you a few hours.
you should try the magma from volcano. its a 510 model and is said to be like the joye 510. ive never tried it but have heard really good things about the product as well as volcanos customer service. im about to order the volcano deluxe kit. im not a heavy smoker and it looks like a really good kit to jump into the world of e-cigs. and the pcc pack is a key selling point for me.
My friend thought Blu cig was awesome when she first got it. However a month later, she doesn't use because it's a pain and the rear and the cartridges suck and you go through cartridges so fast and battery dies every hour.
I think everyone's had your problems, I myself started out with an npro which sucked. Here's my advice after 6 months of happy vaping.
Get a Janty Ego for an ecig, It's a smaller ecig but a 650 mah battery so you can use low resistance 510 atty's which gets you the flavor of a 6 V which is a words difference over the normal atty's your used to.
@nocturnlbyn8chr hey bud, sounds like you want to get a mini-style ecig. I myself (as well as many other experienced vapers) would suggest neither of those models. They are overpriced! I suggest to you a joye 510. You can get one from totally wicked ecig shop online. Just google "Totally wicked ecig" and follow the link to their USA website. Hope this helps dude.
@Mrcharlietoldmeso the vapor is very smooth and much different from smoke. When you inhale you can feel a throat hit (usually coming from the nicotine in the juice being vaporized). The vapor is a little warm, but the sensation of smoking and vaping differ greatly in my opinion. Also since many vapers (including my self) mouth inhale, you can feel the vapor feeling your mouth prior to inhaling into your lungs.
I have a blu and its an atty issue. I tried a 306 atty and wow, what a difference. Get more life out of the carts as well, 306 seems to drain them better. I haven't tried any cart mods so far. But you can try the 306 carts on the 306 or the 401 or volcano and see which cart works best so far. So far for me the new blu carts work the best with the 306 atty.
510 atomizers should fit on blu cigs and also 510 and 401 cartridges fit from what i know, they also came out 510 cartomizers which are cartridges with the atomizer built in. If anyone does/has tried one of these mods post a vid or comment.....
first off if you take long drags it does that and second do you take off the foil? it can stick and you dont get as much vapor as you could and lastly if you hold the cart and you flick it that helps alot too.

The vapor production wasn't satisfying so now i own a couple mods which utlize much bigger batteries and power the atomizer better. ummm also came with a free sample of valencia with 0 nicotene.
the original. love it.. taste is good but i think i can get better smoke with a better foam inside.
i ended up cleaning out one of the old cartridges, taking out the filling and spacing it out so it's more evenly distributed.

valencia has a nice throat hit and hints of citrus all around ur throat.. i can see why this would be good.
it's a light hint, and not an overwhelming taste of orange.
i find that the normal smell of e juice is drastically different to the vape form.. which is why coffee e juice tastes like feet or cheese to me.
i would put in an order for valencia next time.. really hits the orange notes every pull.
the original is damn smooth and good and hits the spot.
