I can't believe I finally found the Italian scifi movie that I had been searching around for years! Couldn't remember the name but it all came back when I saw this movie trailer. My husband's Italian and I always told him that I loved the cheesy italian space movies but didn't remember their names. So glad I finally found this one! :D
People remember the old Italian westerns... But most don't realize they made some great (not to mention, highly influential!) Sci-Fi as well! Never saw this one, but it looks like a classic! I remember hearing somewhere that the bad dudes from the Matrix were based on something from an old European SF flic. It looks like it may have been the assassins from here!
Ok, when the guy said that man and woman would be turned into one person...I couldn't help thinking about the she-males of today. Hmmm I wonder how folks back then would react to that :O
I love the bizarre, colorful visions of the future they had back then---these days, every movie set in the future is either a crumbling wasteland or a monochromatic dystopia;the only sci-fi movie of the last 30 years that even remotely resembles this is "The Fifth Element".
Oh---and the 2015 sequence of "Back To The Future II".
This...was a weird movie, jumping from sci-fi to horror/sci-fi to...some weird James Bond climax that reminded me of a forerunner to "Moonraker". But hey, it's all in cheesy fun.
I watch this one on TCM Asia on cable. But do you have the seen on the movie Wild wild planet? Because in the seen the girl is in the dressing room with guy and pin the girl and disappear. I saw this movie
Great movie ! Like may I saw it as a kid - in my case on tv. I really love the women ( so beautifull and glamorous ), especially the fight scene and the red haired lady in the orange dress !!! Great retro movie - still good now. Regards.
WOW when I was a kid in the 1970s I had seen Green Slime on TV but it was not now that I've learned that it's part of 4 films written by Ivan Reiner now I want to know who this Ivan Reiner is and how did he get 5 sci-fi horror films made in the 1960s and why are most of them all forgotten today... I mean 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' is more well known than these films.
I only saw this once on KCOP out of Los Angeles...and a few months ago memories of it came back to haunt me...only finding it tonite. Pure Italian ScFi Cheese and Purer Italian uncut Bulldada. An eternal Classic of the Genre.
me too!!! when i was a boy, i used to think that it was an fetish/erotic movie in many ways. i like the scene when the man with raincoat, "reduce" the people.
as a little kid i saw this movie and i was scared with the bold guys, i dont remember the rockets and space, only the matrix guys w 4 arms ..i want this movie!
When I saw this in the movies when I was a kid,I thought it was the coolest thing, seeing it again as an adult,I thought "What was I thinking"? Anyway, nice to see the ending of the movie in the trailer!
I saw this trailer at the local theater when I was about 6 years old (no kidding). I remember vividly seeing this preview and thought COOL. BUT, it was rated "X" at the theater. Had to wait until Video Players (the old style platter types) came into vogue before I could see this. But it is great to see this particular version of the preview again.
Couldn't have been rated X because the MPAA rating system wasn't created until 1969. The theater owner may have restricted admission to adults only, but that seems unlikely. The violent and horrific elements in this movie are not that strong, even by 1965 standards.
A wonderfully campy hunk of sci-fi Italian cheese, directed by Antonio Margheriti (who sometimes used the pseudonym Anthony Dawson).
