@KameMidori11 Most positions are based on Vancouver Island, not Vancouver (main office is in Campbell River). Although, because a many positions are camp based (8 days on and 6 days off), there is an opportunity to reside in Vancouver and work at Marine Harvest Canada. More information (current job postings and general application) is available on our website in the Career section. Tbanks for your interest!
Thanks for posting this video!! This is a real inspiration watching the team work and the people's comments that work there. 8 days on and 6 days off.....I'd be more than happy with that! This video is so nice to watch and somehow try to move out of here. I'm not married, I have no tie downs here where I'm at. I SHOULD just pack up the suit case and move the heck out of here and live and work in paradise there!!! I'll look into it....
Thank you for posting this wonderful, inspiring video :)
at 6:30, a gal said...."if you want a good job, come work with us." I'm about ready to come to BC and work with you since the USA's economy is in the crapper and this country is about broke. I'm telling ya.....after watching this video, I'm about ready to start packing my suit case and move the heck out of this failing, floundering country!!!
my dad works on a stun and bleed boat.... packing and fishing runs in our family. My grandpa(James Walkus) owns about 5 boats. there all about 2 million. the highest value ou of all is six million. All his boats end with the word Joye, which is his daughters name. His boat got mentioned in this video
I've toured these farms and it is FAR more beautiful, pristine and inspiring than this video or any words could portray. The folks working on the sites are serious environmentalists who really love the environment and their unique way of life. Some of the nicest folks on earth!
Very well done! As a staff member of the Fisheries & Aquaculture Department at Vancouver Island University, I would like to express my support for Marine Harvest Canada and my thanks for giving so many of our diploma and degree program graduates employment. Keep up the great work.
Do you have any positions in Vancouver, British Columbia? If so, please explain. Thanks.
