No, you cannot connect it to a pc. it is really stand alone. You can actually connect midi devices, like a keyboard for instance. The D2 has a sequencer and about 600 sound patches in it. You can change lots of things until you have your desired sounds.
The big surplus is that it operates totally stand alone, which is great for live use.

Hey man good work, but there is no line in/record in for the Roland D2.
So, How have you recorded Daft Punk Aerodynamic into it? Did you play the melodies into the D2 yourself or are you using the D2 as a midi controller?

Thanks. I used a EMU X-board to play all the melodies into the D2 via MIDI.
