You have a dachshund named Fassbinder, that's incredible. I've always wanted to get a pug and name it Werner, in honor of both Fassbinder and Herzog, but I don't know if I could handle a pug. However, I feel that Werner perfectly encapsulates the personality of a pug, while honoring two of my favorite directors.
Dachshunds are small hounds; temperamentally they are capable of tracking and killing small game.
They are not a dog to be trifled with.
