this sounds a bit low for your voice. here's something you can try:

learn the chords that go with the song with the capo on the 5th fret, ie (G D Em D at the start) then move the capo down like 2 or 3 frets so it's transcribed down, just not as much. i can tell you have a really nice voice, but it only shines on those high notes! [:

also, i think you're playing the kazoo backwards. but who knows, i could be wrong. i'm no kazoo expert.
