  • ETS is butchery. It's killing a fly with a hammer. It can seriously affect your life for the worse. Sweating through your clothes, constant extreme fatigue, heat intollerance, light senstivity. YOU DON'T CUT NERVES TO FIX A PROBLEM. ETS IS SAVAGE BUTCHERY.

  • I'm considering ETS to treat my facial blushing and heavy facial sweating. Coz it really ruins my life. Please anyone has this operation done for facial blushing/sweating. ??

  • Thanks peaple for letting us know that ets is no good really appreciate it =)

  • I had ETS done in 2003 by a "good doc" and it RUINED MY LIFE! I have SEVERE CS..Please dont get this done

  • this surgery is insanely evil!

  • You can download the audio-mp3 of this song at grabaudionow doht cohm.

  • @FlossieOlesen665307 you suck at spamming dude

  • i did clamp my T3,T4 2 days ago. clamping is not distroying the nerves and can be removed .

studies shown that involving T2 will give more side effects.

i know about other side effects and it is so far nothing for me and i will keep on monetoring my self esp my heart and lung if it will affect my life i will remove the clamping .

so far am ok and satisfied. will update my prognosis later in months to share openions with u.

    google"corposcidosis"

  • @TheStrike818

well whats been happening since ??

  • people need to realize that ets will completely stop the sweating from the top third of your body. your hands will stop. Your arms and head. ZERO SWEAT. This is not normal and is very unhealthy. You r body will not be able to cool off. Your skin and eyes will be bone dry. This can't be reversed. Doctor "forget" to mention this little fact.

  • just had ets a week ago. still hurting a little but its only my back and left lung barley . anyway i feel brand new. o yeah why would you go out of the country to have this surgery done thats stupid. i went to this doctor in baltimore (gbmc) and he has done 100s of this kind of procedure i would rec. you aks for him there

  • do the research very carefully and then don't do it

  • so we are cutting nerves that are so very close to very vital organs and other crucial nerves to cure hyperhydrosis WTF?

I have cured this by hypnosis several times, infinitely safer, infinitely cheaper and there is no compensatory sweating elsewhere.

JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN CUT A NERVE, DOES'T MEAN YOU SHOULD!

what next, immersing your hands in electrified water trays? Oh yes they already do this also, leeches next? JEEZ!

  • mcnabj,

I have no idea what it has done to U. i understand U want to warn people, spread the word.

I admit it was stupid of me to jump onto this ets, without deeper research but i didnt have life at all. sweatin was so bad i wanted to end my life.

I enjoy every minute of my hands being dry, its silly for people who dont experience it, but for now i would possibly say i would rather have quality life for a while and face the music later rather than live no life at all.

  • TruthAboutETS(dot)com

  • had it done for my right hand in Oct, thought nothing can be worse than what I already have, luckily, full success, just had my left side done on Friday, amazing results!

  • You are in something called a honeymoon period. Give it a few years. That dry hand will never sweat again. The ability to grip things is gone. See how ets effects your heart. It effects blood flow. It effects energy levels. It messes up the skin. It can't be reversed.

  • Has any1 tried ETS for excessive blushin and what were the results

  • Yes I had it done. Don't do it. The side effects will destroy your body. Do not trust the surgeon selling the surgery. Try other forms of treatment. Try anything but ets. You realize ets will stop the entire top third of your body from sweating? No sweat. Your hands will also stop sweating. PLEASE DONT GET ETS.

  • @mcnabj,

Where did you get this info from?

    I have never heard this.

It may have happened in your case, but I haven't heard anyone else claim this.

  • There are hundreds of people who have been ruined by ets. I had t2 clamped by dr. lin in taiwain. Look at ets side effect forums. IT will open your eyes about this surgery.

  • I know some people may think that i'm crazy for taking the risk of those side effects. but you gatto understand me. my hands will get very sweaty sometime and i have to wear gloves while driving, can't shake people's hands, can't hold others hands, can't dance ... etc and it effect my social and my normal life.

  • Hi fromanhattan42,

I really understand your frustrations. I had my fair share of excessive hand sweat problems. about some years ago i underwent the ETS surgery and was very unlucky to have the surgeon burn less of the sweat glands that he should. So i never managed to remove my hand sweat problem totally with this method and yet i develop compensatory sweating on my torso (front and back), my face and underarms. Recently i have better luck with other treatments though.

  • @Gabusai hey my surgery went great. i had the best doctor in the usa work on me however my torso and legs sweat way more any other side effects youve had

  • Hi I'm actually thinking to do the ETS surgery for hyperhidrosis on my hands. Because they sweat a lot and i think it's pretty nasty. If people that have the same problem like me, they know what i'm talking about.

So what do you all recommend? have any of you had this surgery before? I know some side effect include some slight eye lip drop ( but i can fix that with plastic surgery). besides that what so i worry? and what are the chances to have side effect?

  • dont do it. Trust me.

  • Hi I had the surgery done about 2 years ago now. cant remember what they cut. I think it was the T2. I had facial hyperhydrosis. a little in my hands. i dont sweat from my face or my hands now. but i do from my chest, back, groin and legs. its not pleasant at all. but it took care of my face. i have these new problems to deal with now. it happens to some people. i cannot go out from my house without undershirts on now. and i live in england and its not that warm here.

  • etsandreversals.yuku(dot)com

  • ok doo0o0o0od what's your problem. i can see you're obviouslly upset about something. i'm guessing you got this surgery?? for what your hands or face? i got them for palmar hyperhidrosis the cut the T3/T4 nerve. most doctors don't reccomend getting the T2 nerve cut because there's a higher chance of paralysis or horners syndrome. who did your surgery anyways? & yeah NO COMPLAINTS whatsoever, it's been a week and its amaaazzing.

  • its been two weeks for you. Wait two years and see how those dry dry hands are doing. Wait till the blood supply is effected. WAite till ets surgery effects sweating in other parts of your body. Waite till your hands go numb with peripheral neuropathy. I had t2 done by the fuck DR. LIN. Real side effects of ets are not informed to patients. These doctors only care about money. ETS can't be reversed.

  • wow im really sorry that happened to you. that doesnt sound fun at all. but i did not get my t2 nerve cut, they cut the t3 & t4 nerve, i did research on the these nerves and the t2 is more applicable to side effects if cut. i hope things get better for you though!

  • thank you. my problem is that doctors dont inform us about ets. they know the real side effects and are biased b/c they sell the surgery. Ethics are gone.

  • TruthAboutETS(dot)com

  • He has beendoing this surgery for 6 years and has done hundreds age ranging from 9 to 40. none of his patients has any complaints and neither do i so far! definetly take this into consideration if you have tried everything! i know how miserable having sweaty hands is.

  • right. sure. no complaints ?? ok

  • but they for palmar hyperhidrosis they do not cut your t2 nevre they cut/burn your t3/t4 nerve those are the nerves that control sweating inthe hands. the t2 nerve is cut for facial blushing which many doctors reccommend not to get because the side effects are much worse. If you live in Florida or are considering getting this surgery i'd reccommend you to go to the dr. i went to Dr. Charles Klodell in Gainseville Florida.

  • I had severe hyperhidrosis in my hands and feet and i had tried everything including botox but that didt even work. This was def. my last option and i cant believe how successfull it was. if you want to know more message me.

  • ok disregarding anything anyone negatice anyone has to say about this surgery. first off EVERYONE is different all our bodies are different so some people are going to react differently. But i just got this surgery done yesterday and it is AMAZING i feel great no side effects whatsoever.

  • can somebody explaine to me what this does, and whats the T2, why are so many people saying it makes you disabled, is that to do with nerves or mucles ?

  • T2 is the thoracic level 2 on your spinal column. The t2 sympatheic nerve is one that these butchers cut or clamp to stop hand sweating. What the forget to tell you is that it also stops the sweating on the top third of your body. It lowers your heart rate, effects tear secretion ect ect ect. Please research how ets effects your body.

  • thanks i have no intenstion of getting it done, but when i heared it involved erves and clmaps, i wondered where that nerve was, surely it carnt be allowed to disrupt nerves in the spinal colum, sounds stupid to me, thnaks for our help.

  • oh and do you know what the side effencts of this surgery is, is it paralized limbs due to the nerve being clamped ??

  • I have never heard of anyone getting paralized limbs from t2 before. I have tingling limbs for the damage to my nerves and I thank God they are not paralized.

  • will that ever go away ?, is there any other known side effects, thanks again for your help.

  • read real side effects of sympathetomies.

  • Search online about how ets effects your body. Dont listen what doctors who sell the surgery tell you. They are biased.

  • TruthAboutETS(dot)com

  • I have done alot of research on a number of sites and the majority of them are advising against the procedure. especially for chronic blushing. I have decided against it and thank everybody for their advise and warnings. I am truly sorry to everybody who has got this surgery and has had negative side effects. I guess I will just have to try and control this problem a different way. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

  • good decision. I hope you look into botox for blushing and laser treatments as well.

  • I might be getting this procedure for chronic blushing but dont know if its worth the risk. I dont have a problem sweating but I am hoping I wont develop any severe side effects if I decide to go ahead with the procedure.

  • I got ets for blushing. T2 was clamped. I am now ruined. I want to die b/c of the side effects. DONT GET ETS. read about the real life long side effects of this butchery. It cant be reversed. The top third of my body is bone dry. Please research this butchery from other sources than the dr's that do it.

  • could someone under the age of 18 in canada get this surgery?

  • no. Thanks God for that.

  • why thank god?

  • Thank God that you are not able to ruin your body with this surgery. You are very young and need to understand these Dr.s only care about money. They dont give a shit about you. Thank God you cant legally get this surgery without a parents approval.

  • hmm i guess

  • I got this surgery done in Canada about 2-3 years ago and I under 18.

-Side effect is that my face never drips a sweat when I jog/excercise whereas I would sweat before the surgery was done. I am not sure if it's a positive thing or but it doesn't hinder anything I do.

-Complementary sweating I have noticed is that I sweat more in my: underarms, chest, back, and mostly the feet and underarms. (only happens when I am hot such as summer weather)

    -Btw it's free in Canada

    -Msg. me for questions

  • My hands never sweat now and I am able to shake people's hands, dance, etc...

Honestly, before the surgery, I use to be so afraid to meet people because my hands were so sweaty. I find myself more confidant and outgoing than before.

Side effects are different for everyone. Some usually get mild complementary sweating but in rare cases I heard I can be worse for some people.

  • this surgery is banned in the homeplace of sweden. Think about that people. Do Not get it. The side effects are for life. My facial skn is ruined and the top third of my body is bone dry. NO MOISTURE> NONE>

  • I got one video about HAND SWEATING CURE. Don't mind can go to my profile and search it. (Ebo0kstre). Hope it can help you.

  • WHAT IS THE COST ?

  • Check out hyperhidrosis treatment on youtube by searching SHANNONBOWLING

    ur well wisher

  • im going to get this surgery, but i have to save up for it, anyone know how much the face/scalp surgery cost?

  • I hope you didn't have it, it was the worse mistake of my life. I'm constantly overheating, and it caused Horner's syndrome, my eye is permenantly deformed.

  • i havent had it yet, but maybe i still might. its a risk i think im willing to take, cause my sweating problem, it bothers the hell out of me, and i cant live the life that i want becuase of it. i dont know yet, i still have about 3 years before i do anything, soo..

  • Im thinking the same thing, iv researched it a lot, and have found that "Complications are very rare and, generally, of minor importance, requiring at most a day or two of prolonged hospital-stay.

  • •Horner's syndrome: This is the most feared complication, leading to a slightly smaller pupil & a dysfiguring assymmetry of the face due to a slightly drooping upper eye-lid, caused by damage the upper-most thoracic nerve-node, the so called ganglion stellatum.

  • The risk for this event depends mainly on the surgeon's familiarity with the procedure, ranging below 0.3% in the hand of a surgeon with great experience. To correct this complication, a plastic surgery procedure (blepharoplasty = shortening of the upper eye lid) is required.

•Treatment failure: A rare occurrence as long as the patient has not had a severe pleural disease rendering access to the ganglia difficult or impossible.

  • •Pneumothorax: A residue of air remaining between the lung and the thoracic wall, either due to incomplete resuction of the inflated gas, or due to a minor leakage from the lung. Small amounts of air are generally reabsorbed spontaneously and need no further treatment (the patient should, however, avoid taking a flight during the next day or as long as the pneumothorax persists). Greater amounts (very infrequent) may require suction drainage for a day or two.

  • With proper technique, when entering the thoracic cavity and when aspirating the gas at the end of the procedure, the surgeon can almost always avoid this complication. In any case, it can be easily treated." That may be able to help ericzn1234, unless its too late, im sorry to hear about you getting Horner's Syndrome by the way =(

    Also on the side effects,

"•compensatory sweating may appear after ETS

•it is usually mild to moderate and well tollerable

  • •it cannot be predicted by any diagnostic means whether it will show up & how intense it will manifest itself

•it often has a tendency to decrease within the first 6-12 months

•there seems to be a relationship between the number of ganglia treated & the incidence and intensity of compensatory sweating

•heavy compensatory sweating is relatively rare

•there is no reliable treatment for heavy compensatory sweating on the trunk

  • •it is(almost)irreversible if it persists for more than 1 year"

I read on a website that one doctor in Egypt, trained in the UK I think, Prof.Dr.Hossam Ahmed Fouad. MS FRCSEng.,FRCSEd.,FRCSGlasg, he offers the surgery for about 2500 Euros, thats about £2000 for those of use who live in the UK. Apparently in France its twice as much!

Hope this helps, and I would like to appologise to the readers and maker of this video for using up so many comment boxes!!
