  • You landed on 17C

  • Im flying on an AA super 80 in the summer and im in row 17A. Is this the seat u were in? Id prefere to be one more seat back closer to the wing than in the video. But if this is 17A then thats alright.

  • @IamnotKanye

I was in seat 15F, so you'll be a couple rows behind where I was sitting and on the opposite side of the cabin.

  • what seat was this?

  • It appears you landed on Runway 17C

  • you live by the airport or you work there? lol

  • Both.

  • My flight is on an MD80. So there are free drinks in flight though correct?

  • Yes, they'll offer you a free non-alcoholic drink.

  • How comfortable were the seats? Was there in flight entertainment? power plug ins for my laptop?? I fly in to Nashville on American Airlines in 14 days :).. so excited.

  • Hope you enjoy the flight to Nashville. I'm not sure what type aircraft you'll be on, but if it's an MD-80 the seats will be decent, average coach seats with folding headrests that contour around your head if you want to catch some sleep. On the MD-80 there are no plug-ins for laptops, etc. Generally American Airlines doesn't offer any in-flight entertainment or free snack/meal service, only a beverage service (for domestic flights).

  • looks like a AA super md-80, row 15 or 16.

  • Very nice job! Yes, it's an American Airlines "Super 80." I was sitting in row 15, seat F (15F). You'll have a terrific seat in 16F. You'll be in the window, just forward of the wing. Enjoy!

  • Also... just another note (you may already know this) - you won't need to worry about the emergency exit row. Those are farther aft (I think maybe rows 20 and 21). Also, when you land at DFW you can expect a fairly rapid deceleration. That's one of the busiest airports in the country and the approaches are usually stacked for miles out. Clearing the runway as quickly as possible is important there especially. Again, enjoy the flight.

  • Thankyou for the response. I have been to dfw once before, last july, on a AA S80, seat 15f, flying from Norfolk to dallas, on my way back to Ontario,ca. But, it was at night. this time it will be in the day, coming from orlando. then again heading home to Calif, landing at John Wayne instead of ontario. From DFW to SNA i'll be on an AA 737-800, seat 17A, would you know what my view will be?

  • Enjoy the flights! 17A on the 737-800 will be a window seat, I think somewhere over the center of the wing. I believe row 17 on that aircraft might be an emergency exit row, but I'm not positive. Either way, you'll have a window seat with a good view of the wing (if you're into seeing flaps, speed brakes, etc. on the wing).

  • Also, I'm guessing you've been to SNA before, but expect a rather rapid deceleration there too. The runway is fairly short for large aircraft and requires a steep approach close to the buildings of downtown. ;)

  • Was this an AA Super MD-80? What seat were you in? row 15 or 16? I have a long trip coming up, and one of my flights is from orlando to dallas, i'll be sitting in row 16f.
