It doesn't matter if you crossed up with the grab. After teching the grab, you should clearly see which direction your opponent is at.

ragna can just tech the grab then inferno divider and rapid cancel and as he is falling down do an attack to hit nirvana/carl and continue to combo

Exactly what Tasakun said, any good player will immediately see which side he is on when he techs the throw, and input ID after it, rapid cancel, and air dash away or something.

I think you grabbed him too far in the air. Still trying to work out this combo. I can never input the alle-can right. practice practice

Now we just need to figure out how to continue it. Hrm...
Can it be delayed (the clap), so that we do the whiff reset if they don't tech? Or can we RC viva>reset?
