I bought it from the manufacturer straight to my house (white with black bevels) aaaaaaaand it came to me extremely busted up, and they refused to give me a refund. I eventually hounded them for a month and spoke to a lawyer and got them to take it back. The six strings however play great.

That's where you are wrong. I know this solo - I can play it on keyboard, and slowly on guitar. I have a very good eye for this, and apart from the very end (the part that's not correct on the tab either) he's hitting most notes correctly. Of course it's not going to be perfect and this was probably one-take, like most of Lorcan's videos.

Also listen to him live, he plays the same solo as in the recorded song you can clearly hear that it's off.
