03 m45 is less restricted then the 06+ I raped a Chevy cobalt SS turbo the other day creeping away from him. And I thought 4bangers had high end especially when turboed.
Approx weight of the infinity: 4100 lbs / Approx. weight of the Subaru 3318. Throw about 800 lbs in the Subaru and see if it is even close...Infiniti is just a killer beast. Don't want to take too much from the Sub's though. They are still quick as hell for an inexpensive stock car...
maybe im wrong lol but sti has covers where the fogies are or near them i do see sti on the grill and the wheels are sti but everything else says modded wrx to me
I had the WRX (modded to 290 HP) and now own an M35 (currently at 280HP), and I can tell you it's a matter of preference: 0-60 speed vs rolling acceleration, and econo-car interior vs near top-of-the-line luxury. I'll keep my M, thanks.
@duymsday you high? it could be difference over sea's but im in america..it was the twin intake that made it go from 286hp to 303hp which they updated on i believe all nissans and infiniti's in 07..if its got 2 air filters..its got 303. I have a friend that works at a infiniti dealership...trust me
@crzygutrsnobrdr Why don't you google "2007 Infiniti M35 HP" and read all of the reputable articles that state the HP at 275? Then, google "2009 Infiniti M35 HP" and read that year's V6 made 303. The only thing high is your guess at the 2006-2008 M35 HP.

@crzygutrsnobrdr Hes right....the 06 through 08 M35 was 280....in 2009 the rwd model got a bump up in performance to the 303 your stating. Maybe its your friend thats wrong, vs Edmunds, CnD, Motortrend and every other publication out there. Keep in mind however, that even the 2009 M35x stayed with the normal 280 hp.
@ackilles85 hmm...when i opened my hood 1 saw 2 intakes...2 intakes was added after 2007 after the 280hp gentlemen agreement was ended to give it 303hp.. The 09 didnt have the single intake 280hp lol..I have never met anybody that drives a nissan or infiniti that has said that..even on the website it said 303hp. They test the car, dont work for the comapny man...if it has 2 intakes..its 303hp i dont get why so many people cant handle the fact..not to mention it would be real real slow without it
The stock rims alone on that Infiniti cost more then that sad little WRX or is it a WTF??? What kind of race is this, Any Infiniti will leave that car in the dust.
stock wrxs are really not as fast as youd think. off the line, 0-60 is real quick but it only has 225hp and eventually, it shows. yes,the infiniti is automatic and its heavy but it has that sick 4.5v8 in it, over 300 horsepower. the m45 is a sleeper car it will pass the wrx for sure
saying this with all respect, the launch of the wrx is going to be better becuase it's stick. now the M45 is most likely auto which will be a slower take off unless you rev your engine in N then throw it into drive. buttt then you'll have a messed up tranny pretty soon :(
the launch is better because it's all wheel drive....stick matters too but all wheel drive is way more important. I used to dust vettes in my Audi S6 (up until about 100 MPH where that V8 starts showing it's strength)

M45 isn't a rally car. But For being a presidential looking car with stock 18's and auto trans it moves!! But yet again.. I like my quiet luxury car.

@crzygutrsnobrdr The M35 was 280HP until 2009, where the updated V6 got 303HP. The 2011 M series (M37) V6 makes 330HP.
