  • Whoever disliked this shall be burned. This song is awesome. :)

  • I am a huge scream fan but i still have not gotten to watch scream 4 can anyone give me some advice no spoilers but is it worth it?

  • @doc69er it's so worth it. I'm a huge mega fan of the Scream movies and I think the fourth is in the top two out of the four movies. The reviews say that it's really gory which is the only thing that sucks but there is only one really gory seen in the movie. Plus the original cast is in it which is a huge bonus. When you watch it I would love for you to tell me what you think. I hope you enjoy it!

  • I love all the Screams, and I think Scream 3 was just as brilliant as all the others and no idea why it is so underrated! Neve Campbell rocks!

  • classic movies

  • Great song to listen to on Halloween.

  • Jesus! zugfgh and benhs1898! Stop fighting! Just enjoy the music!

  • I like the version and I would like it in 4th movie

  • I love the music of this version, but I love the lyrics of the original version better. Still, hard not to like any version of this fantastic, creepy song.

  • * Satirizes

  • Give some evidence bro

  • @benhs1898 Very well, the fourth film felt very much like a piece of fanfiction, Dewey's 'manly' voice was more annoying than humorous as it was most likely intended, Cox looked more like Janice Dickenson than Gail Weathers, Sidney was sidelined for an annoyance of a character whom was eventually revealed to be the killer

  • @benhs1898 the killers were both poorly acted and not believable, the whole third act felt rushed and last minute, the opening was a class act in how the series has gone from the greatness of the Barrymore scene to the crap of this one, and finally, by trying to create a film that satirises reboots and remakes, it was a crap as a reboot and/or remake.

  • @zufgh All interesting points but can you account for the totally unbelievable premise in scream 3? Mostly inhuman characters (the bodyguard, all of the "actors", even roman). The plot seemed and WAS the forced byproduct of Williams dropping out and the demand for a third film. What resulted was a convoluted explanation for films we've already seen.

  • @benhs1898 You can't call the film crap just because the original writer didn't write it.

The bodyguard was stabbed in the back...once. If i recall, Dewey has been stabbed so many times in the series, it's laughable he's still alive. And Roman had a bullet proof vest.

  • @zufgh If you don't appreciate the JOKE of Dewey still being alive, I doubt you understand any of what makes Scream so interesting.

By inhuman I meant they were all caricatures, not that they were zombies or whatever you thought I meant.

  • @benhs1898 The intention was to satirize Hollywood, thereby satirizing its various actors and actresses, in that respect, it stayed true to the franchise.

And Dewey was originally meant to die, it was by fortune that the director filmed him being wheeled out of the house, not an intentional joke.

  • @zufgh simply depicting does not qualify as satire. It is also a minor offense compared to the overall mess of an ending. Re-writing motivations from past movies? To quote Gale in the superior Scream 4, "Don't f#ck with the original"

  • @benhs1898 It didn't 'just' depict them, there were various passing mentions of each of them sleeping with eachother to get to where they are in the industry.

And you can talk about reiwriting things in the original, at least it was somewhat believable, rather than the out of fricken nowhere Jill and Maureen's sister, whom probably had no idea about Maureen's time in hollywood.

  • @zufgh Better than making up some fake brother from the past.

"in cinema, forced = crap." haha, is this a quote from Godard? Tarkovsky? I don't know of anywhere in CINEMA where the word forced implies something other than FORCED. Of course, your over-simplification of my use of the word denotes a major misunderstanding on your part.

"there were various passing mentions of each of them sleeping with eachother to get to where they are in the industry." that's deep, we DIDN'T know that already.

  • @benhs1898 When has there ever been a positive reference to the word forced? Exactly, it's a negative usage in all forms of media, stay with me. And I said it was satire, you twit. When did I call it deep? And how lovely it is that you bring up two film theorists to make your opinion somewhat credible, pffft, laughable is what it looks like to me.

  • @zufgh Forced IS a negative word, it does not directly mean "crap". It simply means that some requirement of plot, character, or otherwise had to be filled and they filled it with whatever they had lying around. Forced also refers to something being under-planned or poorly executed. So, you see, you OVERSIMPLIFIED.

So, go ahead and laugh, you'll look even more like a fool.

  • @benhs1898 But in the context of this debate, your usage of the word 'forced' contained implications that it was crap.

And please, stop derailing the argument just because 'you' can't find a decent criticism to make.

  • @zufgh It is unfortunate that you interpreted it incorrectly but your interpretation can in no way affect my initial intended use of the word.

I am not derailing the argument, you saying so does not create truth. I am just further deconstructing your inability to communicate which is making you sad. So sorry. So sad. I'll play you a sad little song.

  • @benhs1898 Yeah, well it affected your argument in that you've no actual argument.

And you might want to save that song so you can cry yourself to sleep over a lost argument. :)

  • @zufgh Whatever dude, that post is WEAK. I'm gonna go beat my meat over the thought of how badly I CRUSHED your head dude. Sleep on that one. You'll have nightmares for WEEKS. FU.

  • @benhs1898 Whatever, you little creep. The only thing that's been crushed here is your pitiful little posts time and time again.

And also, you've no idea how pathetic you've made yourself sound, what with you "beating your meat" over an argument on the internet. Oh, and a "fuck you" right back at ya! ;)

  • @benhs1898 lmfao!!

  • @zufgh I didn't say it was crap JUST because the original writer didn't write it. Read the WHOLE post. You will find that I explain what made it terrible with another writer.

Include the FACT that he was brought in last minute and you have MORE proof that he didn't know what he was doing.

  • @benhs1898 You said it was forced, when the word forced is mentioned in cinema, forced = crap.

How does the writer being brought in at the last minute prove he didn't know what he was doing?

  • In my opinion, Scream 1 & 4 were the best in the series so far...

  • Wonder why this song was in all other Screams but part 4.....

  • @JohnUrrysReviews Because 4 didn't deserve the greatness that is this song, the first 3 did.

  • @zufgh Uh, scream 3 sucked and it got its own re-recorded version.

  • @benhs1898 Yeah, well it was the Godfather compared the new film.

  • @zufgh Relative to the other Scream films, and what they are, Scream 3 does not deserve to be part of the franchise. I will side with the critics on this one in saying Scream 3 was conventional and in no way as fresh as Scream 1,2, or 4.

  • @benhs1898 4 Sucked the big one.

  • @zufgh Smart response.

  • @benhs1898 How can you five a smart response when it comes to your opinion on a film, You hated 3, you liked 4. I hated 4 and liked 3. Shit's done.

  • Listening to this...I shall do everything in my power to make an appearance in perhaps SCREAM 6...since I, like sooooo many of you were all over the 90s originals...

Me *earnestly* "Do you think this aussie could get an audition for Scream 6?"

Wes Craven *gasps, giggles, covers mouth, then earnestly* "NO...I don't, at all." :p

  • screams theme

  • @JaYxSkillz LOL Go back to war movies you illiterate prick.

  • @JaYxSkillz I can but it makes you (look) like an imbecile. BTW Scream 4 was better than the second & the third one

  • @JaYxSkillz Learn how to spell before you make a statement. Retard.

  • Scream 4 was as brilliant as the first three. perhaps better.

  • as much as I do love Scream - maybe making a 4th one.... wasnt so great? i mean, im not 15 so i couldnt get in the theatre to see it (god knows i tried lmao) but in the 3rd one, syd found out that roman killed their mother and how she died, etc. And trilogy's are very rare in the horror section... anyway, i might be wrong - SKY BOX OFFICE, GET SCREAM 4 -.-

  • Jill Prescott dislikes this.

  • Imma play this at my halloween party!! :D

  • this was in scream 4, it was played in the barn

  • @1234babys No it wasn't. The only song in the barn was Make My Body by The Chain Gang of 1974.

  • @wazzuk3000 its a kids ringtone

  • @wazzuk3000 no thay played it on stab 1 and thay were watching the beging it played it

  • @1234babys yeah the stabathon.

  • God they didn't play this song once in the 4th movie!!!!! and that just sucks I mean it's in all the other movies and just like it should have been in the last one because it would have been awesome. Someone could have an iPod and been listening to the song in one of the scenes or somethin and then someone u know interrupts them and they turn off the iPod to talk or somethin.

  • Loooove this version! It sorta reminds me of Thomas Newman's musical scores.

  • beware of the red right hand

  • I dont remember this in scream I remember this in Hellboy.

  • @Exterlite O____________O This song is in EVERY SCREAM MOVIE with the exception of Scream 4. How could you NOT remember it in Scream??

  • @Exterlite visa versa for me.

  • Scream once, Scream twice - now Scream again <3

  • Envying, i like the original song better..

  • Ah, this one is so much better, and grim.

  • Just went and saw Scream 4 (on Friday the 13th, lol), and I really liked it! Good plot twists going on...I did miss hearing this though as it was in all 3 films prior to the new one...:( I love this version out of all of them, may be it has something to do with the awsome orchestration going on in the background :) Neat stuff, longlive the 90's!

  • I love the song. This version is great.

  • This seems like a song Jafar would song on Alladin. Haha :D

  • @Lach1234 jesus christ dude seriously? u mention a kids movie in the comments 4 a classic thriller movie?...dude...

  • @inception4ever XD noo the killer say that in the movie at the beginning, the phone.

( sorry if ive got a bad english im french )

  • WHERE IS SIDNEY PRESCOTT ??!!!!!!!!

  • @CoOsMiiK What???!!! She is in the middle!

  • Are you going to upload the score for Scream 4!? Pleassee doooo you would be the bestest EVER!

  • Hey, that's different!!! ^^

  • This song is the reason Scream 4 wasn't good. Seriously? This song is the heart of the Scream movies and it didn't play ONCE.

  • @SpideyFan1993 i AGREE!! me and my sister were waiting to here this song!! scream 4 would have been better had they kept the original plot. although the twist was good, the deaths were cheesy. The movie DEF needed this song in it

  • @Brookezee How were the deaths cheesy? One girl got her throat slit. A knife to the stomach, by the girls friend. Someone was thrown through a window, a girl getting stabbed in the back then getting crushed by a garage door. Someone thrown off of a building and onto a newsvan. A guy was even shot in his dick, then his head. Charlie getting stabbed in the heart, Robbie's gruesome death, Kate's death, Olivia's BRUTAL death, Kirby's heartbreaking death. Were we watching the same movie? Dumb bitch.

  • @BruceFaulconerStudio first of all, im not a dumb bitch just cause i have an opinion. just like im not gunna call you a dick. in my opinion the deaths were cheesy because they were kinda comical and i didnt like it. so "brucefaulconerstudio" learn to stay classy and respect opinions, because its people like you that get butt hurt for everything. ;)

  • @Brookezee Butthurt? Who are you noballroom23?

  • @TheGuyWhoReviewsForU mm no. are you?

  • @Brookezee It was a joke if you know he/she on the S4 boards. No.

  • @BruceFaulconerStudio Well said, man. Let's go on a rampage together!

  • I LOVE THIS VERSION!!!
