in the box is 3 points, in the cup it's 5 points, and if you get one a washer length away from the box it's 1 point. Thats how we play it down here :)
@ODFDfirefighter HERE we play it with 1 point if its near the box, 2 if its in the box, 3 if its in the cup, and it goes to 21 here, this way we enjoy it and it lasts longer :)
you throw from 30 feet from the center of the can to the center of the other can, you get 3 throws, and your boxes are weired, mine are bigger, and we use a coffee can screwed through the center of the box......but whatever.......I thought I was the only one in the world who knew about washers!!! lol
r u serious, i love washers, i am awesome at it, me and my friend (who never played before) faced my dad and my godfather once, 1st 3 rounds:1st round, he gets a can, 2nd round: i get a can, 3rd round: he gets another can, we end up losing tho, we couldnt finish what we started!!

Come on! we have played this game in Mexico since at least the mid 1900's. We would play it using holes on the ground.
