But when you remove the free market, you remove that competition, and we are stuck with an inferior product. With time, a new energy market will emerge. NOT TRUE!!!!!! Most of them can afford. I afford it and I don't make lots of money. They choose to buy houses, cars, and lots of technology and not provide their own health insurance. It is expensive. Too expensive in fact. But that is mostly due to the government, not the industry.

So instead of looking at the rhetoric of climate change, I look at the policy that is dictated. And clearly this bill gives the government massive control over our lives. It's a big picture, and when you pull out you begin to see, that when you strip individual rights you trample the constitution and the intended restrictions on the government, you end up with a totalitarian gov. that "knows what's best" and only "they can fix." The hallmarks of fascism. Who will suffer? The people, always.

No one is "requested to hate the government". We understand the limitations of government. Many things have affected the middle class. Changes in the economy have lessened the value of manual labor. We have technology now that replaces it or makes the worker more productive. We also have WORLD economy in which we must compete and labor is cheaper in other countries. My pay raises are based on MY performance. No union ever got me my raises or my benefits. I don't want union to go away. They can serve a practical purpose in our economy if people actually understand their limitations. Unions do not create jobs.

Not everyone chooses to be poor. However many poor people stay poor because the government takes care of them nicely. They get food stamps, welfare, and medicaid. I know because I work with the poor. I am all for helping those who cannot work. I am against creating a dependency on the government. Why not take these doctors with student loans and have them work in government sponsored health clinics? Why not expand county health and nurse programs? You can make healthcare available!
