@TerrorProductions1 thanks for the awesome compliment! I love BFX..well, before it changed...still cool though. They were my inspiration to even start this channel, but I'm far to poor and time deficient to do this all the time...I'd LOVE to though.
@Mgarguemare aww, thanks :) I don't care what people say...I don't expect everyone to like my stuff. Let them feel cool and tough over a comment on youtube. lol. I do this because I want to, not to please everyone.
@Mindfreakfan11 I just used a bit of pro-adhesive, but really, what held it on mostly was the fact that the latex, toilet paper and cotton continued from the bald cap to my face so it just became one solid piece. You should have see it come off! It was like a mask. lol
@bonybfx its good but the red spaces are a bit too big if they were smaller and you used darker make up for the skin the it would be great but its still awesome
@Mindfreakfan11 Spirit gum is used to hold it down and you can also use liquid latex on the edges to make the bald cap look like its part of your skin instead of seeing where the bald cap and your actual skin meet.
you did a great job. forget what any naysayer has to say, like the dude who said you look nothing like freddy. i think that guy totally missed the point of the video which isn't to show you how to look like freddy, but to create burns like his. once again, great job!!!
@troublesomej See this shows me what a true loser you are and that it is you that has ADHD. You go on my channel and rag me about my Freddy costume which is movie quality by the way and your on this channel telling this guy who did the exact same thing what a good job he did. The only is here I'm showing the uniqueness of my costume which you can't buy at any local Halloween store and this guy is showing his FX make up.
@troublesomej I created those videos because many like my costume and asked could I make videos of my costume showing it action. And for the other Fred fans who are looking for a custom movie quality costume thus the title dumbass.
@monkeyeatbananagrr yeah, I did cut some of it out...you'll also notice how at the end it kind of just stops before completely done. I take your other comment as a huge compliment!! Indy Mogul is amazing, big inspiration to me and the reason I started this channel to begin with. I never should have gotten lazy and stopped making vidoes. I must get back into this
Might I suggest using on of those ear cleaner things like the ones you used in the terminator tutorial to flatten out the cotton when you make another Freddy mask.just a suggestion
@Bpspdabest I made the freddy glove. I tried using a q-tip for spreading latex, but it just pulls at the cotton and makes a mess things. My finger what the best option. The bald cap I bought from a halloween store :)
@Bpspdabest the latex I bought in a store online (there are so many) and the blood I bought at the local halloween store, I could also buy latex there but it's too much money for too small of a bottle. Online I believe the store was called FX Warehouse.. but like I said, there are many places that sell it. Just do a google search for "buy liquid latex".
@bonybfx yeah bfx ending was sad, i loved this makeup tutorial it looks just like freddy, i say you couldn't have done it better,if anything you are better than bfx you have better tutorials, they are funny, very detailed and look better and more realistic i have always liked your tutoria;s (note i saw this video about 6 months ago
@richieh1980 I actually just used regular cheap face paint. The flesh parts was a more "expensive" paint but only because it was included in a skin make up kit I bought. I also ended up using some basic acrylic craft paint because I was taking too long and really wanted to get it done. hhahaha
smaller red spots with more of the fleshy tone would have probably looked closer to the real Freddy. Like the idea though, if this was done right it would look pretty close.
@MrLenerd11 yeah, I worked in the largest halloween store in Canada part time for a few months and they had these really high quality mask that cost over $100 but they still look like a mask and are only one size so they don't fit properly... these tutorials are geared toward make-up fx for film. Either way, it's still fun to do.
Should have used a more orangey paint for the skin part. The burns are also too big and circular. There needs to be a lot of small, almost triangluar shaped burns. And the big hole on top of the nose looks kind of stupid. He has a bunch of small burns going down his nose.
@AngelofMusic101 Yeah, I was just kind of winging it. I didn't use a picture for reference. I was just trying to do a really quick and easy way to get that classic Freddy "look". It was really hard doing this to my own face. I'm actually surprised at how it turned out.
@23sutts I guess you could if it was a really good quality. I was working with limited supplies here. I wish I had the money for professional quality make up
@SirJasonVoorhees Hmmm, It's possible. But It wouldn't look as good. Most of the edges were torn but you could just reapply them and touch it up. So yeah, I guess it's not outside the realm of possiblities
@SirJasonVoorhees If you go to my facebook page, I posted a video of me taking it off. It wasn't too bad actually. I still have it. It came off in one piece really.
I LOVE you for this! I get people coming into my Halloween store all the time asking me how to do their own Freddy makeup and this will definitely make explaining it so much easier! Thanks!
@KatrinaSvperstar hahaha, awesome! you can just tell them to go to freddy.bonybfx.com :) Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to make...took a long time but still a lot of fun.
@bonybfx Haha no probs mate it looks cool i think. I just wanted to give you a tip. If you have questions i worked with special effect artist from Lord Of The Rings and Animators from Wallace and Gronmmit. Just PM me :) tnkx bro c ya
@MegaJamesbond12 lol, I would hope they're better..they are a company with professionals...I'm just one guy with no experience in an apartment. I love all the Indy Mogul guys...kind of my inspiration here.
Nice video !! Do you think that if i do the same on a basic latex halloween glove its gonna work ? because i want to make freddy's left burn hand and i want it to be wearable.
@darkmirakles23 Yeah, that would work...maybe just put less cotton. Mixed with lates, cotton can be pretty tough and isn't that stretchy. It will still move around and stuff but it has not stretch as plain latex does. You could also just so the burn make up right to your hand to make it look a bit better instead o having the glove on.
Thanks for watching and adding to your favorites :)
@RolyUnGashaa I'm so happy that it's only 12:46 and I have views and comments already :) I'm glad you enjoyed! I'm looking forward to the next month :) Hope you had a good new years Roly ;)

I thought that this was way more superior than the BFX tutorial. Indymogul's (BFX's) was pretty cheesy. It only did the face on BFX.
