It also would be impossible for him to take over the United States as Muslims are a very small minority here. @esraretin The big issue for most Muslims is how Shariat is defined. If a Muslim is a practicing Muslim, he/she must accept the Shariat. The problem is the interpretation of shariat. There are many interpretations including some that believe that mosque and state should be separated and that a nation's laws should be "in the spirit of shariat" but not absolute shariat like the Salafis believe as was practiced at the beginning of Islam. The question is what does Gulen believe truly?

Gulen is just making money off these schools with tuzuk payoffs, visa fraud ect. for an agenda in Turkey.
