  • Thanks Steve, well presented.

  • Super spey rod range. I use the dredger glx 13'4" for shooting heads for atlantic salmon.

I think Mr. Rajeff could work a bit on his forward cast. Who am I to argue with him but he could stop a bit earlier- especially with the scandi casting....

  • i still dont get whats different than fly fishing.

  • I write for the online fisherman and this is a great film on Spey casting. Kudos to Steve Rajeff

  • I've always been concerned that Skagit casting makes too much disturbance on the water. Maybe it works fine for steelhead on the Skagit, but don't try it on a Norwegian or Russian salmon river where you share the pool with other anglers. They would get upset I think.

  • - oh no... ! Doesn't Steve really know that there are companies that have much more speyrod models in their selection? Quite sad ...

  • Very good clip. Skagit is the way to go for Steelhead fishing for sure.

  • Spey is the Way!!!

  • i just got into spey rods i saw a man use a spey rod to catch stripers on montauk!
