Super spey rod range. I use the dredger glx 13'4" for shooting heads for atlantic salmon.
I think Mr. Rajeff could work a bit on his forward cast. Who am I to argue with him but he could stop a bit earlier- especially with the scandi casting....
I've always been concerned that Skagit casting makes too much disturbance on the water. Maybe it works fine for steelhead on the Skagit, but don't try it on a Norwegian or Russian salmon river where you share the pool with other anglers. They would get upset I think.
Do i need a spey-line to speycast?
