I totally envision this type of miniature stealth fighter being used in a future combat scenario. I can see DARPA arming these things with mini-EMP weapons that would knock out electrical power and all the electronics of our enemies within a radius comparable to the size of a football field. the take-off of a jet off a carrier is all done by computer and the aviator(s) have to show that there hand is not on the flight stick in order to be lanched... landing on the hand is all on the pilots' training and skill with some computer "gideance" and this is implied with ALL naval aviators

MOST (if not ALL) modern fighter jets are next to impossible to fly without computer micro adjustments... 90% of fighters launched from carriers use ALL computer launch methods, taking the human right out of the equation (i watch WAYYY too much discovery!)

Sorry bro I have to say your wrong. My brother flies in the ROKAF (South Korean Airforce) he trains people in a KAI T-50. A modern fighter/trainer. He told me that all fighters are 100% possible to fly with out computers. He said that they use computers 99.99% of the time because it is much safer but if a computer fails you need to be able to fly it yourself. If you couldn't the plane would be useless and you would have abort. All fighters are 100% flyable computer free.

As I said all fighters can fly without computers, needless to say they can NOT enter combat with out their computer systems running. It's a challenge to fly as all your navigation systems are out.
