I must have awesome short term memory. I played the short term memory game twice and got all 10 both times. I am very observant, for as long as I can remember I have been able to see things that no one else does. I have good long term memory to I can recall some things like if they are happing now. Problem is they are usually things I don't want to remember. It makes it very hard for me to fall asleep to, I don't have an off switch for my mind. Wish I could find some kind of use for it.

I really don't think it is tricky. It is still a cool experiment. But it is really all in the brain. Swinging the hammer in her direction mainly scared her because he just came out a hammer and hit it on the table when she was supposed to "stare at the hand". But I am really surprised how people didn't recognize the cashiers especially the one that changed from a female to a male cashier, Wasn't that the most noticable at the least?!!!

@JustabitofJacob Not necessarily. If Amy still believed the hand wasn't hers, at a distance and disjointed from her, then she wouldn't have moved like that, as there is no pain to fear. Her brain was tricked because she was only focussing on the hand, so could only see the hammer for a split second approaching that area; and so a relex reaction was initiated to protect the rubber hand from pain.

@Blue3940 You'll notice that she knew something was going to happen as he told her to "keep on watching the rubber hand" and then he whipped out the hammer and swung it towards her and even her left hand which she knew and believed was hers she quickly moved off the table and jumped back because of the shock and like any human would upon seeing something dangerous coming towards them recoiled.
