Perfect! This just 7 days after my first show in Hartford... Little did I know my life would never be the same. God Bless You Jerry... Thank You for a REAL GOOD TIME!
Yes! I was there and it was fantastic! I was 17, took the bus from NJ to see this show with a friend. We ate ying yang acid and almost missed it. This was the highlight of the show. I was way up in the dome smoking hash out of a conch while this jam flowed. I will always remember Syracuse.
doesnt get any better than the band and the band...show was greatest..shrommed right off my feet .. was like a vaccum leaving dome...it rained....i had the honor of sleeping under my friend anns pickuptruck in the rain. another cozy night with...hmmmmm.
i remember being blown away in the parking lot by the community..then the fact that it didnt matter that there were seat numbers on our tickets. No one cared. they started playing and the crowd erupted. The biggest impact on me was that there were people who spent the entire show in the hallway dancing. Just twirling , and dancing where they were. I have goose bumps right now.
Yes this was one of those nights and easily is in my top 10 for all time great nights of music. It was the only time I saw The Band too. Glad you enjoyed it.
@LadyAltheaIsMe Thank you for mentioning the twirling girls, for the longest time I had no idea if they were real. At one show in Charlotte or Hampton or maybe both, I had to be amongst them...... Well 20 years later I now know they really dd exist!!
@LadyAltheaIsMe My first one too! We had so much fun..rented a van, 3 girls and 9 guys..all kinds of crazy stuff, we got locked out of the van and on the way back I found a hanger in a bush...and we opened the van..crazy thick fog on the way home...one amazing night..
