Also, you see that extra curve thing on the rear of the grip that touches the receiver, is there space in between or does it press up agains the receiver pretty good?

Eh, I think it's a gimmick. The 3 bullets part.
The only useful thing I could think of for that is to store a laser bore sight.

i put one on my colt m4. Its nice grip. you can adjust the thickness narrow to very wide.

Standard front strap with trigger guard (part of the kit).
The grip mates up nicely with the receiver. No room for play.

Thats very ingenious, i guess i could just make my own cover or wahtever with tape and glue haha, Maybe. Maybe for a cigar or a Jerky treat.
