  • I don't understand why didn't they just call it MG instead of Roewe since they owned that brand

  • You see they did not originally own MG. They wanted Rover but Ford had Land Rover so they were already using the Rover brand. There competitor NAC had the MG Brand because NAC got bought by SAIC they can now use the MG Brand.
