Hearing the screaming before the stop I wonder what the ____ was going on before the stop and if this was a precursor to your driver nearly missing the stop. Sounds like they needed a good disciplinary action and the driver should have stopped the bus several stops back and called for a policeman to help quiet the children down... Would have prevented the need for the panic stop. Ask your girl what the children were doing before.
I hope the bus driver got a long holiday for thought though.
My bus driver in elemtry school was like this! THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE so I dont ride then but now I am 15 and drive. If I was you I would have gotten on that bus and kicked that drivers ass and called the cops
Howard county school bus drivers r a bunch of non educated, white trash, trouble makers..All they do is gossip, spread rumors and talk shit about each other..They will talk 2 your face n stab you n the back all at the same time..n the board of transportation superintendent is just as bad...He encourages drivers to snitch and complain about each other and then wonders why we dont get along..He doesnt deserve the position he holds as superintendent ...Something needs 2 b done
I saw this story when I was in Ocean City on vacation, and I knew this video was going to go viral. You did the right thing videotaping it, and thankfully the bus company did the right thing by moving on from the driver. The video is funny, but when you have a loved one on that bus, it is not funny at all. I hope that driver never works with buses again.
As a co employee of this driver I will tell you that she was fired immediately.... This is NOT usual at all ... Please if you have any concerns.. Call the contractor or transportaion and video just like this parent did... Well done!!!
Absolutely ridiculous!!! I'm a mother and also a Howard County resident ...I hope there is a new driver today. One time is more then enough but I'm assuming this is a daily ride for these poor kids. Life is to short as it is to lose our precious babies to someone's reckless and selfish behavior. I say revoke this persons CDL and regular licence, we don't need this on our roads ....there is enough madness out there behind the wheels.
