  • I want to go there to get away from the scumbags of the east.

  • interesting pics, but the song was rough to listen to

  • no Offence but the Music Sucks' it Reminds me of Candy Bars.

  • Really nice pictures.

  • I visited Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park in August of 08' and will never forget that place. I hope to one day call majestic Wyoming my home sweet home.

  • Nice video and great music. I like it:)

  • Where is 4:14, and where is 4:36?

    Wyoming is awesome!

  • PLeas PLease PLEASE tell me where you were at at 3:39...That's like my perfect place to live I wanna know where it is. Thank You, If you tell me.

  • Wish I could tell you exactly where that was, but I don't know for sure. I think it was on the road leading up to Devil's Tower. However there are many beautiful places in WY. Good Luck and may you find what you are looking for.

  • can you stand the extreme cold?

  • 4:39 looks mad fun

  • Great pics, but I beg to differ about the Dolly Parton tune being a 'perfect fit'. She doesn't do justice to the majesty of Wyoming like your Western orchestral music did.

  • nice video. what song is this? its a good one

  • WOW! What a great group of pictures. I really liked the slide show aspect. It allowed me to see so much of the state in a short period. The Dolly Parton song was a perfect fit. My family and I are going on a road trip this summer and will be in Wyoming for 5 days. Your video was a wonderful overview of what the state has to offer.

  • Thank you for your comment. We went in July and the weather was perfect. Cool in the evenings and excellent during the days. If you haven't already, you may want to check out my video which contains only WY scenes. Wyoming - Great Road Trip 2007 - The Continuing Saga

  • Is it just me or are there some pics of the Black Hills region in SD and some of badlands NP?

Anyway, great video! Been down that road twice and really enjoyed it.

  • Wow i live in wyoming but i havent seen some of the stuff thats in the pictures. What a beautiful set of amazing pictures! Ill have to watch for the rest of those places.

  • This looks amazing !

What song is accompanying the pictures ?

  • Thank you. The song is Dolly Parton's Awarding winning "Travelin Thru" from the movie TransAmerica.

  • hey, searched "wyoming" since the caucas is there today and found your great video. sure hope we can ride out there some day - it's beautiful - especially wishing it was wyoming in the summer today and not Columbus OH with a blizzard and about 12 inches of snow!

  • Thanks for the comments! It IS beautiful!! My family is back in KY and they are right there with you in the muck of winter. So it will be over...

  • Hello! I'm from Kazakhstan! I'm going to Wyoming, Jackson in this summer 2008!!!

:))) And what degree in summer? cold?

  • I love your pictures. My husbands from Wyoming and we lived there for a couple years and we miss it. Your pictures turned out really good, what kind of camera do you have? Ours doesnt take that good of picture.

  • I've lived in Florida all of my life and i've always wanted to vist the North West and Wyoming.

I love the video and music by the way.

  • i live in wyoming but im not from here so it really kinda kool living here

  • Cool road trip! and great song!

  • I plan on taking a road trip this summer across the nation (I live in PA), and I would like to take the Lincoln Highway across. Isn't parts of I-80 in Wyoming the Lincoln Highway..

On an unrelated note, the song to this video.. A blatant ripoff of Cat Stevens - Tuesday's Dead. Check it out

  • Don't know about the Lincoln Highway. was just travelin' thru Wy. However a fellow youtuber JamesFromWyoming may be able to help you with that.

As for Cat Steven's Tuesdays Dead. I can't see any resemblance to this song.

Good luck on your road trip!

  • No way! It's so obvious! Have you heard Tuesdays Dead? Maybe I'm just crazy.

    Which roads did you take?

  • that would be correct. between Cheyenne and Laramie there is a Lincoln Memorial thing. It's at the Happy Jack exit just west of Veadawoo on I-80. I think if you go inside the rest area it's got a little thing about lincoln. I've lived in Wyoming my whole life and have been up there several times but have never really checked it out (the little things you take for granted)

  • I have never been to Wyoming, but I am planning a trip soon. I have been obsessed with seeing it since I was a kid, so it should be fun. I love this song you used!

  • wyoming, like no place on earth!

  • Very nice... I should have taken more pics before moving from Wyoming. Love the ones you've shared.. =)

  • Thank you. If you haven't already, check out my "Wyoming-The continuing Saga of The Great Road Trip 2007" That vidoe has all WY pictures. Wy is defintiely a beautiful state!

  • wow.

I think WY is very beutifull

  • Skippy! Great job on the video! What a beautiful and amazing trip. I just get chills at the wonder of it all. The magnificent world around us, and the women brave enough to take it on! You rock woman, and I love and miss ya! jojo

  • Be sure to clear your plate for next year's ride!!! Either West coast or East Bound!!! Tally HO and GO!!

  • Sheridan, Wyoming, has an annual day every summer dedicated to women on bikes. Held downtown and Main St. is closed off just for the even.

  • Thanks for the info ...

  • I like your WY photos!

  • Have you tried Vermont in fall foliage season?

  • Not yet. Since I bought my touring bike 2 years ago I have been through 14 states. Only 36 more to go. [might have to rent one in Hawaii :-)]
