@dubcoo5 , Ok I completely got you wrong, I thought you meant cummins to powerstroke conversion which you almost never see around. It seems we both say the same thing. I agree with you on the trann issue 6 speed manual is way stronger than the 4 speed auto on the Dodge.

@dubcoo5 look into some drag trucks then you'll see lots of conversions. I am not going into the pissing contest, but for I know Cummins are considered more reliable engines. I think the best transmission is Allison though. I can tell you the weak point on any Dodge is the transmission the engine can take lot of beat up, but I can't tell you the same for the transmission. I am actually at that pğoint where the transmission needs a serious upgrade.

By the way read some below, and since then, New turbo, CP3s, Torque converter, RCV axle kit, Spyntec free spin kit, front&rear lockers added, 3" susp. lift, flex lite electric fan, new tires mud tires 38X13.5X18, kenwood sound sstem w/ 4 screens, cb radio, in cab autometer gauges, BD exhaust brake, off road lighting plus HID headlights and fog lights and so on. It is not built for competition! anything is not factory stock is modified in my book!

@paintballer653 1st screen was placed on the passenger visor for the rear camera. Since I had the factory stereo at that time, later I upgraded to Kenwood system with touch screen,gps, dvd, tv tuner, parrot bluetooth, iphone module then I place 2 more screen on the backrests for the kids. (life saver on long trips and camping trips). Actually I do not get to use the one on the visor anymore, but it is there. That is the reason.

@liljohn30 I mounted it by using the brackets from Thule made for RAM. I used the brackets inverted so the rack do not stay high up. But if you plan to carry major cargo ( above 100lbs.) it is better to mount it the way they advise to do. I am planning to put a full size spare on top (38 x 13.5 x18), so I think I'll have to reverse the brackets in order to gain some space between the rack and the roof

Since I live in Turkey it is real hussle to have all these parts shipped and imported to the country. Mainly I follow diesel power magazine then I search the net. Few ideas, bankspower, autoanything, 4wheelparts, ringpinion, desertrat, xtremediesel, stylintruck, just to name a few. Hope it helps:)

It has 3" suspansion lift, 37x12.5 x 18 BF Goodrich All Terrain on 18x10 Mickey thompson. Front electric locker, Banks RAM air intake, K&N filtercharger kit, Edge Easy and Edge Juice with Attitude stacked. Rancho SX9000 XL with in cab controller., Fiberglass SRT hood, Magnaflow 5" dual side exit exhaust (cat is removed), Warn winch, ..etc. On going project for the time
